Have you ever visited a place…could be local or foreign? A new place, be it a town, zoo, funfair etc. The excitement of seeing what took you there in the first place kinda overwhelms you at first, then the rest starts to feel like an exploration…”Discovering what else could intrigue you”. I know i’ve got your minds wondering to that place you enjoyed so much with someone you cared for. Now place this same context in a relationship. I know that the chase, the initial courtship is always intriguing and most of the times even better than the price itself. Usually the chase lasts slightly longer than the relationship itself coz it had some flare…some aspect of risk in it that got both of you on fire. Feels like going to a new place doesn’t it? But you also must admit, that whole process is like the journey to a relationship. It’s exciting. But how exciting is it to revisit a place that gave you that thrill the first time you toured it? You may enjoy your first trip to Paris…the Eifle Tower and the lovely gardens. But what then the next time you visit it? For me it always seems a bit more liberating knowing that I can find my way around and spend more time seeing things than worrying about moving on and finishing it all in the timeframe I have. Yes it is cool the first time but it’s also SOMETIMES cool watching that movie a second time, hooking up with an ex, touring the garden route a second time.
